Valhalla, NY - In a rematch from one of the most intense games of the regular season the Vikings of Westchester County traveled up to Rondout High school to take on theSenators from Ulster County. The previous game was played close and finished in a 2-2 tie and this game had a similar feel the whole way through. 

The first half was a defensive battle, not much offense as they went 45 minutes with few shots and no goals. The second half had a similar feel but with a little less than 10 minutes to play Ulster snuck one past keeper Miguel Leal and took a 1-0 lead to end and ultimately won the Mid-Hudson Conference Championship.

This doesn't mean the end for WCC, despite the loss they are still very strong contenders and hold a #3 seed in the Region 15 playoff bracket. This Saturday at 1 o'clock they will take on #6 Kingsborough Community College. This match will be right here at Barrett Field in Valhalla. There is still a lot of work to be done for the Vikings as their ultimate goal is still in sight!
