Valhalla, NY – Head Coach Alfio Carrabotta is pleased to announce the upcoming 2023 Men's Soccer schedule!
 
"We are excited to open up our 2023 schedule with three scrimmages against Lehman College, Hudson Valley Community College and Mohawk Valley Community College," Carrabotta exclaimed. "This will be a great test for our guys to make a push for a Mid-Hudson Conference Title and ultimately a Region 15 title!"
 
The Vikings look to avenge their 2022 season where they finished 7-9-1 overall and 7-5 in region play. The fourth seeded Westchester came off of a 7-6 home playoff win in penalty kicks over Borough of Manhattan to take on regional powerhouse Nassau Community College in the semi-final round. There, the Vikings ultimately fell to the Lions ending their season.
 
SUNY Westchester opens with an away game on September 5^th against Monroe Bronx who have shown to be one of the top regional opponents. Opening their first home game of the season on historic Barrett Field will be LaGuardia Community College on Saturday September 9^th starting at 1pm.
 
The Vikings look to take revenge in their semifinal match-up against region runner-up Nassau Community College for a home match on Saturday September 23^rd at 1 pm. Westchester also looks to make some noise taking on Mid-Hudson Conference champion Ulster Community College in Stone Ridge, NY on Saturday September 30^th. That game will also be a 1pm start.
 
Highlighting the end of the season, SUNY WCC will travel out to Selden, NY to take on defending Region 15 champions Suffolk Community College for a 4pm match on Thursday October 5^th.
