Audrey Cherny received her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Cortland and her Master’s Degree from Smith College. She has coached and has been educating students for almost 50 years.
During this time Audrey and her teams have won the New York State Invitational Swimming & Diving Championship at Marymount College, and while coaching at Westchester Community College she won the New York State Junior College Athletic Association Regional Swimming & Diving Championship.
Throughout her career Audrey has coached, played and officiated basketball, field hockey, tennis, volleyball, badminton, synchronized swimming, swimming and diving.
Since her retirement Audrey became a member of the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association and Vice President of the West Hill Women’s Golf Association. In 2007 and 2008, Audrey was the Somers Point Women’s Club Champion. She was the Women’s Club Championship finalist at Somers Pointe and the 2009 Women’s Club Champion at Heritage Ridge Golf Club at Hobe Sound, Florida.
