From the late 1960s through the 1970s, the Westchester Community College football team performed as one of the best programs in the nation, earning two National Championships, while sending dozens of alumni to NCAA programs. If it was not for Neil Pagano, none of this could have happened.

Mr. Pagano is the former Mayor of Port Chester and is also the owner of a Real Estate, Appraisal and Insurance Company; C.J. Pagano and Son. The firm has successfully been in business for 86 years. Though out his life, Neil has been a member of the Port Chester Fire Department and proudly served in the United States Army.

Pagano graduated from Westchester Community College, and moved on to graduate the College of Insurance. In 1968, he was credited as the founder of the football program. He was also a member of the Westchester Community College Board of Trustees.
