Terence Hughes is a graduate of Mahopac High School.  He attended Westchester Community College from 1980-1982, where he was a two-year member of the Men's Golf team.  During his time as a Viking he was the NJCAA New York State Champion in Golf during the 1981 season.  In both years of playing he was voted to the All Mid-Hudson Conference team as well as the NJCAA All-Region team.  He also was WCC's Most Valuable Athlete each year.  Terence earned his AAS Degree in Business Administration. 

After his time as a Viking, Terence became a professional golfer in 1984 as
a member of the Quarter Century Club PGA of America.  During his career he traveled with various professional tours and won numerous tournaments. 

In 2013, Mr. Hughes became the first and only golfer to date to be inducted into the Westchester CC Sports Hall of Fame.  He currently is the Golf Professional at Mahopac Country Club, and resides in Mahopac NY.
