Thomas "Tommy" J. Foley was a member of the Westchester Community College Football Team where he played safety and was a team captain in his senior year. He received his Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts/Social Science. Before coming to the College, Tommy Graduated from Clarkstown South High School where he also was a member of the football team.

He joined the New York City Fire Department in 1990 and was stationed at Squad Company 41 in the South Bronx for nine years. In 2000, he moved to Rescue Company 3 also located in the South Bronx. In, addition, Tommy was a member of the FDNY Football Team. On September 11th, eight members of Rescue Company 3 responded to the World Trade Center. Tragically, none of them returned to quarters.

In July 2000, Tommy was listed as one People Magazine's 10 Most Eligible Bachelors.

Tommy was a team leader, a unique character who enjoyed the outdoors , bull riding, and country music. He will be remembered for his love of family, his bravery , loyalty, and most important his kindness.
