Steve Donohue, 50, and a graduate of Westchester Community College, has been treating the injuries of professional athletes since high school. During his high school days at Mount Vernon HS, Donohue served as a student athletic trainer for the New York Jets for four years. An alum of the University of Louisville, Donohue joined the Yankees Minor League organization after graduation, working with their affiliate in West Haven, CT,  Nashville, TN, and Columbus, Ohio. He was promoted to the Yankees Major League club in 1986. Donohue sits on the MLB Medical Advisory Committee, the Hall of Fame Committee, and is a member of the Research Grant Committee of The Medical Advisory Board. A member of the NATA and the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association, Donohue also authors the annual PBATS Confidential Directory. Donohue and his wife, Paula, have two daughters, Shannon and Margaret.
