In November of 2019, Eric Holtz earned the Eugene "Buzz" Keefe Award for his service to the Westchester CC Baseball program. Since that evening, Holtz's accomplishments in the sport have reached the point where induction into the Hall of Fame became warranted for 2021.

Holtz's most recent accomplishment within the sport of baseball was his service as Head Coach for Team Israel during the 2021 Summer Olympics, held in Tokyo, Japan. As Head Coach of the Israeli National Team, Holtz led the program to Olympic qualification, becoming one of only six national teams to do so. Israel qualified for a trip to Tokyo in September of 2019, when they captured the Africa/Europe Olympic Qualification Tournament Championship to qualify for the Olympics. In Tokyo, Team Israel earned its first-ever Olympic win, 12-5 over Mexico on August 1.

Holtz was an Assistant Baseball Coach at Westchester CC from 2008-2015, helping to lead the Vikings to four Mid-Hudson Conference Championships, and three Region XV Championships. He coached Team USA during the 2013 and 2017 Maccabi Games, before taking the top position with Team Israel two years later.

Holtz is also the owner of Game On 13, a Baseball training facility in Elmsford, New York where the Westchester CC program practices during the winter months. Game On 13 operates with a core value of instilling “discipline, dedication, focus, and dedication to all aspects of their lives.”
