One of the most prolific multi-sport athletes in Westchester Community College history, Rachel Poccia could have been a Hall of Famer in any one of the sports for which she competed, making her accomplishments in all three sports that much bigger. A regional MVP in Volleyball and All-Conference selection in Basketball, Poccia led the basketball team to a conference championship during her first season, and regional championship a year later.

After WCC, Poccia attended Mercy College, where she competed in Cross Country, Basketball and Softball. As a member of the Cross Country team, she set a school record for a record time in the 5K, while as a Softball player she set a record for the most stolen bases.

A Health Science major at Mercy, Poccia is a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a member of the United States Tennis Association. She serves as the Lead Therapist at the US Open. She is also Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach and Head Modified Softball Coach at Rye High School.
